Getting back into the swing of things.

Things are starting to normalize finaly. Settling into the job, Brynn and Tab are doing good. Hot as hell down here. This last week the temps haven't gotten below 105. Good to back down with family and even better to be making decent money. Lst I heard, Del Norte is back down to 2 medics, like they normally run when they've pissed off all their staff. Got 2 weeks left in the Fire acadamy. Even better, I have a 3 week break in between the saturdays. Been teaching a few PALS classes, and getting ready to get my ACLS instructor in a few weeks. Got some cool co-workers, back working with my best friend. No hijinks yet, but give it time. Nothing like what we used to do. Tried one morning to set up the 1000 bag from the ceiling that swings into nuts when the door is opened. Ended up almost knocking myself out. Lost my balance on the chair and got hit in the head by the ceiling fan. Actually cut me head open. Brynn is huge. 24 inches and almost 14 lbs. Playing on a softball team. Lots of people from the hospital. They guys from the Ambulance are good. Thats it though. Only have dial up at the house. They don't have DSL or Cable there yet. Lost all my passwords to all my accounts during the move. That took about a week to set all that back up. Hows Mary and Samson? If you haven't realized, your the only one that reads this so it's always written for you. Watched Wimledon and saw Federer dominate. Made me think of you. I miss you. Hows Madison. I need your address, so I can show up at your house at random. Started getting my 67 Mustang ready to finish. 2 years of sitting takes its toll. Bought 2 jet skis. They need a little work but they be sweet once their done. Leaving the pink and turqouise decals on though.
Tell Mary I love her and lick samson for me.

Final move day. May 15th. Rental truck booked. Job lined up. Letters of vacancy and resignation typed. God dammit it feels good. Almost there. Started packing. What the Fuck Brooks, I've been busy

So heres the low down on why its been a while. The first issue I would like to address is the fact that I texted Brooks at 11 pm ( thats like 2 am your time Brooks ) while watching the Australian Open. I said I loved You. Having that been said, I have 2 jobs and a pregnant wife. There was also National Registry. I'm also in training. Training for what you ask. Amatuer boxing. April 21st I will be fighting my first amatuer bout for the chance to win 1000 bucks. Im also gonna be moving. Come May, after Tab's graduation, we will be finaly getting the hell out of here and the nightmare that it entails working at Del Norte. Progressing on to the Fire Acadamy and in July. The past 2 years have been some of the most confusing in my life. With all the hell that has come, we have also met some very cool people as well as made some friends that will last our lifetime. Plus I knocked up my wife and will have our daughter here. So Brooks, I hope you can forgive me and I will try to do better in the future. You will however be proud of me. I told Charles he was full of shit the other day and got seperated from the guy I was working with for the last few months due to the fact that I am a bad influence.

Back again

For the first time in a long time, I had almost an entire week off from work. My parents came to visit and brought my grandmother. We had a great time hanging out with family. Then hell came back. Like I've done so many times before, I got plastered the night before I went back to work. I started my morning commute, still a little drunk and made it to work not yet sober. You think after 6 years of doing this I'd learn to have a beer with breakfast and top myself off before going back to work. Looks like I need to learn from my own mistakes. But, I wouldn't trade my time off for anything. I got to see my wife for the 2nd time in two months. She spent the summer taking extra classes to help finish up her degree. So eneryone knows what that means. bow chica wow wow. But that only took 5 min. of my week off, so then we went and saw a few movies. I happen to be a moderately fanatical Superman fan. So we went to see Superman Returns. Very impressed. I wasn't sure how they were going to tie everything together from the Christopher Reeves' movies, but I was happy to say the least. So remember kids. I hope this incident doesn't stop you from flying in the future. Statisticly, its still the safest form of travel.

Lesson 2

Jaeger can be your best friend. There are people out there that have one bad experience and call it quits. This is not limited to one type of alcohol, but it is lmited to one group of people. Pussies. If you dont try knew things, how will you know what you like or don't like. For example, how do you know you wouldn't like to be with another woman honey? Have you ever tried it? Point made. There are things, however, that are acceptable to pass on. Boiled bull testicles. Sure they look meaty and filling, and I'm sure that they would taste great with some hot sauce and wrapped up in a burrito with cheese shredded all over it. Maybe mix in a can of raviolis. Use your best judgement. Unless you fall into the afore mentioned group. Then just sack up and stop being a little bitch. Eat the balls. It may be the only time you can claim to have some. My point is not to preach by any means, even though the Reverend status is somewhat legit. If there are those people out there that can learn a thing or two, or just be able to relate to anything that I'm saing, great. Or if you get a laugh at my stupidity or mis spelled words, the spell check is blocked by my antivirus/adware/ spyware/chemical warfare program. Maybe this is going to turn into some kind of venting therapy thathelps me cope with the neurosis that I have developed in my short haggered existence. Either way its gonna be alot of fun.

1st posting

So here it is. Chapter One in the random saga of this new short lived craze of mine. After the recent departure of a very formidable conspirator, I was given the address to his blog. Since this man has so inspired me to do great and terrible things at risk of termination and humiliation, I have decided to document the little known existence of myself in hopes that all will gain from the well learned lessons of my life and by association, the lives around me. Let all who seek knowledge, bask in the stupidity of my wisdom.

Lesson 1: I'm gonna get right to the point. Paramedicine, not the way to go. Most of these lessons are based on the very amusing tales and ramblings of the last six years of my life. Those who you count on, count on luck. When I come to work, be it hung over, or sick with some coincidential disease I picked up from some deviant transient that I happen to transport the shift before, my tour begins miserably. For one, EMS does not pay that well. Fast Food chains pay more on average. This is not just the shit hole company I work for, who's owner is the worst, penny pinching excuse for a Paramedic I have ever seen. Today, I was at the Relay For Life. A fantastic fund raiser for Cancer research and patients. A person selling raffle tickets came up to the owner of the company and asked if he would purchase a ticket for the chance to win a basket of local wines and cheeses. He replied, " If you can garauntee me that I'll win, I will." Dedicated to Serve.

I understand that this might come of as bitching. You must understand, and I hope everyone of my co-workers would agree, that I am concerned for not only my well being, but for the rest of my fellow employees.

This is getting rather long. So I'll end this lesson here. If you take anything from this, other than Josh is a sniveling shit. Let it be that, If your business is people, take care of of your business.
